A: All platforms will release on 30th July 2026 however release timings will differ slightly on PC and consoles. You’ll be able to purchase Kusan: City of Wolves on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S at midnight local time and from 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 8am PDT / 11pm CST / +1 midnight JST / +1 midnight KST on Steam.

A: Yes! A 20% launch discount will run until 13th August 2026.

Q: Is there a demo available?
A: Yes! Try the demo on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S to experience the opening chapter of Kusan: City of Wolves before stepping into the full game.
Q: Can I continue my progress from the demo?
A: No. The demo and the full game use separate save files, so progress made in the demo cannot be carried over.
Q: How long is the game?
A: A typical playthrough takes approximately 8-12 hours, depending on your playstyle. Completionists looking to discover every secret, unlock every upgrade and earn SS-Ranks will find plenty of additional challenges beyond their first run.
Q: Can I replay missions?
A: Yes! Previously completed stages can be replayed, allowing you to improve your rankings, discover hidden secrets and perfect your combat strategies.

A: Throughout your journey you’ll unlock and master a variety of powerful weapons and abilities, including:

A: Kusan: City of Wolves features a single campaign that can be tailored to your preferred playstyle. You can switch between Stylish and Free Aim at any time in the settings, allowing you to choose the aiming style that feels most comfortable.
Q: What is the difference between Stylish and Free Aim?
A: These options relate to the level of ‘Aim Assist’ that you’ll have during combat. Stylish offers the highest level of aim assist for a streamlined experience that keeps gameplay fast and fluid. Free Aim is designed for players looking for a more hardcore experience and gives you full manual control over the aim assist slider. Players looking for a similar experience to the Hotline Miami series should set the Free aim slider to low.
Q: Can I upgrade my weapons and abilities?
A: Absolutely! Throughout the game you’ll earn Bolts and Cores which can be used to unlock powerful upgrades that enhance your weapons, abilities and combat effectiveness.
Q: Can I reset or re-spec my upgrades?
A: No. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it remains unlocked for that playthrough. Continue earning Bolts and Cores to unlock additional upgrades as you progress.
Q: Are controllers supported on Steam?
A: Yes! Full controller support is included on Steam.
Q: Can I customise the controls on Steam?
A: Yes! On Steam you can fully remap your keyboard controls to suit your preferred playstyle. Full controller support is also included for those who prefer to play with a controller.

A: Yes! Kusan: City of Wolves plays well on Steam Deck, although it is not yet Steam Deck Verified. We’ll have an update on this ASAP post-launch.
