This is a unique opportunity to join our successful and growing Publishing Partnerships team, which is dedicated to bringing high-quality, independently developed games to players around the world. You’ll play a central role in shaping how our titles are seen, heard, and talked about — from crafting compelling launch stories and coordinating global PR beats, to building and implementing social media strategies that drive engagement and grow our communities. Our varied portfolio offers new creative challenges for every release and gives you the opportunity to leave your mark on how we connect our games with audiences worldwide.
The ideal candidate will share our passion for video games and bring both creativity and energy to the team. You’ll have a proven track record of managing PR and social media campaigns for games across PC and console platforms, with experience being hands-on — creating assets and copy, managing content calendars, and building lasting relationships with press, creators, and influencers.
Who are you?
You’re a hands-on Communications professional with a genuine passion for games and a proven track record in managing PR, social media, and brand communications across multiple platforms. You’re comfortable working with everyone from developers and agencies to media and influencers, making sure campaigns are delivered to a high standard, on time, and with real impact. You bring a mix of creativity and strategic thinking — crafting great stories, shaping the way our games are talked about, and building lasting engagement — all while staying organised and driven through every stage of a game’s journey from development to launch and beyond.
Responsibilities include:
Public Relations
- Plan and execute PR strategies and campaigns for upcoming game launches and ongoing titles.
- Foster strong relationships with media, influencers, and content creators across key territories.
- Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and assets through approved channels.
- Coordinate interview opportunities, previews, and review code distribution.
- Monitor media coverage and report on campaign performance and sentiment.
- Manage key distribution platforms (Keymailer/Lurkit/Press Engine etc).
Social Media & Community
- Develop and oversee social media content plans across all key platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Create engaging, brand-aligned posts and short-form videos in collaboration with the video and design teams, while also being confident producing your own content when needed.
- Comfortable on camera, hosting Let’s Plays, livestreams, and other video content.
- Track performance metrics and use data to inform content optimisation and platform strategy.
- Monitor community conversations and player sentiment, escalating feedback where necessary.
Internal & Brand Communications
- Support internal communications, newsletters, and key messaging documents.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and publishing teams to align communications with broader brand strategy.
Qualification/Experiences:
- 5+ years’ experience in PR, communication and social media management (specifically in video games).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media relations, influencer ecosystems, and social platform trends.
- Basic video editing skills (to create social media content).
- Basic image editing skills (to create social media content).
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confident using analytics tools and social media management platforms.
- Passion for games and storytelling.
- Experience working with international media and agencies.
- Familiarity with Steam, console, and digital publishing processes.
- Content creation skills (short-form video, light design, or copywriting flair).

- Motivated – you will be required to be strongly self-motivated and possess a drive to succeed
- Comfortable working individually and as part of a team – there will be a healthy mix of working on your own (setting up campaigns etc) and as part of a team (working with various departments within the company)

Key Information
Location: Letchworth
Hybrid working model: spend 2–3 days a week (non-negotiable) in our Letchworth office for meaningful collaboration and support, while enjoying the flexibility of working remotely the rest of the time.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility
Travel: Some international travel may be required
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
Interview process: This will be a three-stage interview process: an initial remote conversation, a more formal practical remote interview, and finally an in-person practical interview.
