With Aggelos 2 launching next week on 27th August 2026, we’ve put together an FAQ covering some of the most commonly asked questions.

Q: What time will Aggelos 2 be available?

A: Aggelos 2 will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S at midnight local time and from 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 8am PDT / 11pm CST / +1 midnight JST / +1 midnight KST on Steam.

Q: What platforms is it available on? 

A: Digitally – Steam, PS4/PS5, Nintendo Switch, XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S

Physically – PS5 and Nintendo Switch

Q: How much will Aggelos 2 cost?

A: £16.99 / €19.99 / $19.99 / ¥ 70 / ₩ 21,400 / HK$135 / NT$550 / R$ 97,95

Q: Will there be a launch discount?

A: Yes! A 20% launch discount on Steam that will run until 10th September 2026.

Q: How long is the game?

A: A typical playthrough takes approximately 10 – 15 hours. Completionists take approximately 25 – 30 hours.

Q: Do I need to play Aggelos before playing Aggelos 2?

A: Aggelos 2 is a sequel to Aggelos, but it has been designed so that both new and returning players can enjoy it. 

Q: What difficulty levels are available?

A: You can choose between Normal and Hard difficulty when starting a new game. If you’re looking for an extra challenge, Hard difficulty doubles all damage. 

Q: How many forms are there, and can they be used throughout the game?

A: There are two playable forms, each with its own unique abilities. Once the Demon form has been unlocked, you can switch between the two at any time to explore both worlds and overcome different obstacles. 

Q: How big is the map?

A: Aggelos 2 features a much larger world than the original game, almost twice as large! With two interconnected realms to explore, along with many new areas, secrets, and challenges to discover. 

Q: Are there items and upgrades?

A: Yes, you will find items and upgrades throughout your adventure that will help you progress and become stronger.

Q: Is there fast travel?

A: Yes, fast travel is available via Totems, which help you move between discovered areas more easily. Applicable totems will be active once discovered.

Q: Are there boss fights?

A: Yes, Aggelos 2 features many challenging boss encounters that will test your combat skills and abilities. 

Q: Does Aggelos 2 support Steam Deck? 

A: Yes! Aggelos 2 plays well on Steam Deck and is Steam Deck Verified. 

Q: What are the minimum PC specifications?

A:

Processor: 200 Mhz Pentium processor or higher 

Memory: 256 MB RAM 

Graphics: Must support DirectX 11 or Vulkan
