By order of his majesty, King Cerulean, applications for the Kitaria Fables 2 closed beta are now open until 4th September 2026! We’ve also got a brand-new Story Trailer to share so you can learn more about the mission that lies ahead!

📝 Sounds interesting! What will the playtest involve? We’re looking for English-speaking testers to provide valuable feedback to help us polish and refine the Kitaria Fables 2 experience ahead of launch in Spring 2027. We’d like testers to play as much of the beta version as they can and complete a short feedback form describing their experience.
⌛ How long will the closed beta run for? The test will run from 7th – 21st September 2026. During this period, testers will have unlimited access to a special beta version on Steam. After the test has been concluded, access will be revoked.
📦 What content is included in the beta version? The beta contains roughly 60% of the final release version and will take around 10 hours to complete.
🌎 Which languages are included in the beta version? The beta only supports English. The full release however will be fully localised into 10+ languages.
💬 If I join the playtest can I post and share content online? As this is a closed beta, please do not share any content online. This includes:
- Steam forum posts
- Social media posts
- Video and livestreaming
During the test period, we will have a closed beta Discord available, which players can freely use to talk to the development team as well as other testers.

Picking up her first assignment, newly graduated Royal Army Pathfinder Alice Skylar makes the long journey from The Capital to the remote Arkadera Peninsula and the peaceful haven of Whitewall Town. Catching sight of land after weeks at sea, Alice reminds herself of her mission, to work together with plucky local guide Dusty Tuftkin in assisting the townsfolk with rebuilding their long abandoned defences and charting the wilderness that lies beyond their walls.
