PQube are proud to announce that they will be distributing the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega + games console worldwide on behalf of Retro Computers Ltd.
Letchworth, UK – 10/11/2016
PQube Ltd announce the launch of a brand new handheld console endorsed by legendary British born inventor and computing legend Sir Clive Sinclair. The ‘ZX Spectrum Vega +’ is a portable console with 1,000 officially licensed built in games, colour LCD, micro-SD card slot and TV connectivity.
The included micro-SD card slot allows you to download and play your favourite games and with TV connectivity you can play on the big screen as well as on-the-go.
But with the ZX Spectrum Vega + you are not limited to playing what has already been created. With the ability to write programs and develop your own games (with an array of game development tools available free of charge in the Internet) this offers a genuine opportunity for wannabe game designers and developers to relive the gaming explosion of the 80s!
Andy Pearson, Marketing Manager for Hardware, Accessories and Technology products at PQube commented:
“The original Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega was a great success and the handheld will continue to build on the legacy of the ZX Spectrum. The programming elements of the console are fascinating and open immense possibilities for creativity. The fact they’ve also included keyboard connectivity is also great as I know it was a common request based on the previous console”
Having raised nearly half a million pounds in funds through crowdfunding site “IndieGoGo” the console is set to soft launch in selected retailers in time for Christmas 2016, with a full launch in Q1 2017.
